Métaphores x PalermoUno

Collaboration between Métaphores and PalermoUno at Milan Design Week 2019.

Interior designer Sophie Wannenes has recently opened her first gallery in Brera Design District, PalermoUno. Set in her former home and studio on the second floor of a quintessentially Milanese apartment building overlooking via Palermo, the gallery combines a deeply saturated colour palate with an eclectic mix of Italian and international furniture.

Every six months, the 150square meters space is entirely redesigned to present a new creative vision to the public. As an exclusive textile partner, Métaphores provided Sophie Wannenes with a large selection of high-end furnishing fabrics to collaborate on her interior design ambitious project.

Métaphores’ fabrics were showcased in the living room on a paravent masterpiece and in the bedroom on several furniture pieces: tent, curtains, bedspread, cushions and a stool made from horsehair.

To celebrate the opening of this new exhibition, which will be opened to the public until July 2019, a cocktail reception was held during il Salone del Mobile on Wednesday 10th of April.

More than 10.000 visitors have already been welcomed.
