In a bold contribution to the energy transition, Ian Motion converts antique automobiles into electric vehicles, offering them a brand-new lease of life. Each vehicle is fully dismantled and all its composite elements are restored: chassis, panelling, and seats are all placed in the expert hands of craftsmen, whose keen attention to detail results in exceptional finishings.  

Métaphores enters into a bold partnership with the French start-up in 2020. 

Using Métaphores textile creations to cover the dashboard, make the seats, and trim the door panelling, the fledgling business has created a signature edition of the legendary Austin Mini (1994 model). 

To give full expression to Ian Motion’s guiding principle – a one-of-a-kind experience in a one-of-a-kind vehicle – Métaphores will unveil the fruit of this fortuitous encounter as part of the Deco Off event against the Parisian backdrop of rue de Fürstemberg, near its new showroom.
