SHOWROOM: A SCENOGRAPHY DESIGNED BY SANDRA BENHAMOU
The Ginger collection designed by Sandra Benhamou pays tribute to 1970s America, with an electric ambience as reflected in films by Martin Scorsese, the flamboyant décor of Studio 54, and the back rooms of Las Vegas.
For Métaphores, Ginger has been given a new look and covered in fabric from the new Moonlight collection, transporting us to a magical and mysterious world.
Curtains in Bengale lurex fabric, in shades of deep navy blue, emerald green and copper hang from all the windows in the showroom located on Place Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
One features Dolly armchairs upholstered in deep green Saint Germain cotton velvet. Its voluptuous texture, in an intense disco shade, calls out to be caressed. A Gio side table in polished stainless steel and opaque bronze glass stands next to the pair of Dolly armchairs on a silky rug with an organic shape.
The second lounge area lies opposite, and exudes a refined atmosphere softened by mysterious amber hues and metallic reflections. The rug in graduated and exotic golden shades structures the space to showcase the Ginger collection’s flagship pieces.
The Dolly sofa in midnight blue tweed is featured with the Mia armchair upholstered in the Lounge fabric, in a coppery pink shade. The granular blend of viscose chenille, organic cotton and acrylic provides an unorthodox spin on the men’s wardrobe.
This blend of rich, deep, subtle and vibrant materials is excitingly exuberant.
