Stéphane Parmentier x Maison Pouenat
Stéphane Parmentier, in collaboration with Maison Pouenat, presented its new «Tempéraments» collection during il Fuorisalone 2019, in a space of Galleria Anna Maria Consadori located in Via Brera.
The pieces of «Tempéraments» mix in an unexpected and bold way materials which, a priori, seem incompatible and whose combination nevertheless imposes itself as an evidence. One of the iconic pieces of the collection is the Tranquille Daybed, with a seat made of a mohair fabric from Métaphores and polished brass feet.
Métaphores’ Montaigne fabric of outstandingly high quality uses 100% baby mohair fleece from the very first shearing of young Angora goats. Coupled with a very close weave, the superfine, delicate fibers make for an incredibly soft, bright velvet.
