Last January, the Lambart & Browne Interiors agency started to work on a unique project in Mayfair, London. Now they have finally done it and Bagatelle Dover Street opened its doors last May.
Lambart & Browne, leaded up by Freddy van Zevenbergen and Tom Browning, started out from a grounding with renowned socialite interior designer Nicky Haslam. Since its conception, the London based team has worked on a vast spectrum of projects in both residential & boutique commercial sectors, including the Bagatelle Restaurant project.
The importance of creating spatial energy and emotion, of designing spaces that are balanced, beautiful and uplifting, is one of the core values of Lambart & Browne. This is why, the design of the Bagatelle Restaurant is unique and perfectly embodies Escapism.
“This place is a sort of classical circus with secluded corners for schmoozing or snoozing or minding your own business, meets boisterous and playful dining for turning heads as you dance circles on your banquette to house tunes!” said Freddy van Zevenbergen.
In the Library Dining, Lambart & Browne chose the heavy velvet Lagune from Métaphores. A unique fabric made by artisanal dyeing on a base of Saint-Germain velvet. This unusual technique gives the colours richness and depth, and so, was the clear choice for curtains.
