Le Crin takes centre stage at Dimore

For Milan Design Week, Métaphores has woven a partnership with Dimore, turning the spotlight on its unique know-how: hand-woven horsehair. Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran, architects, designers, and co-founders of Dimore, created an unexpected installation in the huge Dimorecentrale warehouse, inaugurated in 2022.

Silence, an installation at the crossroads of art, design and film, invited its numerous visitors to discover five scenes through windows. For one scene, palpably influenced by Naples and Gio Ponti, the duo selected the Palanque horsehair weave created by Émilie Paralitici, Creation and image Director of Métaphores, to upholster a sofa by Charlotte Perriand.
